What Is a Statement of Account?

A statement of account is an official record that shows the financial activity in your KAST account during a specific period. It typically includes details such as deposits, withdrawals, purchases, fees, and your running balance.

Statements are useful for tracking your spending, verifying transactions, and providing documentation for audits, loan applications, or other financial requirements. They serve as a reliable snapshot of your account’s activity within the covered timeframe.

What Duration Does My Statement of Account Cover?

A statement is a summary of your account activity over a specific period. The "duration covered" refers to the start and end dates for which transactions and balances are reported.

Statement of account durations

  • Monthly: Most statements cover one month at a time.
  • Quarterly: Some statements summarize three months of activity.
  • Custom Range: You can request a statement for a specific date range (e.g., the last 45 days).

Always check the header or summary section of your statement to see the exact dates included.
