How Do I Select Networks in the App?
Selecting a network is simple:

Important: Always make sure the network you choose in the KAST app matches the network selected in your external wallet or exchange.
What Fees and Processing Times Should I Expect?
Fees and transaction times vary depending on the blockchain or network you choose. Some networks, like Solana or Polygon, are known for very low fees and near-instant transactions, while others, like Ethereum, may cost more and take longer to confirm during periods of high congestion.
To help you plan, here are general guidelines:
- Low-fee networks (e.g., Solana, Tron, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain, Stellar) typically cost only a few cents per transaction and confirm within seconds.
- Moderate-fee networks (e.g., Avalanche C-Chain, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base) usually process in under a minute with fees ranging from a few cents to under a dollar.
- High-fee networks (e.g., Ethereum mainnet) may charge several dollars per transaction, with confirmation times from 1–2 minutes or longer during network congestion.
| Important: Before you confirm any transaction in the KAST app, the exact network fee will be displayed in the transaction details. This ensures you always know the cost before finalizing your transfer. |
Will KAST Support More Networks in the Future?
Yes. KAST is continuously expanding its supported networks to make crypto spending more accessible. Additional blockchains may be added based on user demand, ecosystem growth, and security considerations. For the latest updates, check our blog or the announcements section in the KAST app.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I send crypto from an unsupported network?
Unsupported deposits may be permanently lost. Always confirm that both the token and the network are listed in the KAST app before sending.
Can I switch networks after making a deposit?
No. Once a transaction is submitted on a specific network, it cannot be moved to another chain. You’ll need to withdraw and redeposit using the correct network.
Why is my transaction taking longer than usual?
Network congestion can delay confirmations. You can track the transaction using the blockchain explorer for the selected network.
Does KAST charge extra fees on top of network fees?
No. You only pay the blockchain network fee. However, when you send non-stablecoins, they are automatically converted to a stablecoin, and you are charged a conversion fee.
How do I know which network to choose when making a deposit?
The KAST app will display the supported networks for each token. Always select the same network in both your external wallet/exchange and the KAST app to ensure your funds arrive safely.
What happens if I enter the wrong address or network?
Transactions on the blockchain are irreversible. If you send funds to the wrong address or via an unsupported network, KAST cannot recover them. Always double-check details before confirming.
Are network fees the same for every transaction?
No. Fees can change based on network activity and congestion. For example, Ethereum fees may rise significantly during peak hours, while Solana or Polygon fees usually remain very low.
Will I be notified when my transaction is complete?
Yes. You’ll see a confirmation in the KAST app once the network validates your transaction. Depending on the blockchain, this may take anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes.
What should I do if my deposit does not appear in my account?
First, confirm the transaction on the blockchain explorer for the network you used. If it shows as successful but your funds aren’t reflected in the KAST app, contact our Concierge team with your transaction details.
