This article explains how you can send USD internationally using the SWIFT network from your KAST account. You’ll learn what SWIFT transfers are, when to use them, how to send USD step by step in the KAST app, what fees and timelines to expect, and answers to common questions.
What Is a USD SWIFT Transfer on KAST?
A USD SWIFT transfer allows you to send US dollars from your KAST account to bank accounts worldwide using the SWIFT network. SWIFT is the global messaging system banks used to securely move money across borders, especially for international USD payments.
With KAST, SWIFT transfers let you send USD directly to recipients such as overseas bank accounts, businesses, service providers, or personal accounts that support incoming SWIFT wires.
When Should I Use a SWIFT Transfer?
You should use a USD SWIFT transfer if:
- You’re sending USD to a bank account outside your local country
- The recipient requires USD specifically, not a local currency
- The bank details include a SWIFT/BIC code
For local or regional transfers, try KAST’s Local Payout feature.
