KAST Asset Account is a self-custodial wallet used for holding and managing supported digital assets. It is a unified account that you can use to deposit, hold, send, and withdraw supported assets.
Asset Account Convert is a separate feature within KAST Asset Accout. It lets eligible users buy, sell, or swap supported digital assets on Solana from the self-custodial Asset Account wallet.
What can I do with KAST Asset Account?
With KAST Asset Account, you can:
- Deposit supported assets from a wallet or exchange.
- Hold supported assets in your Asset Account.
- Send supported assets with on-chain transparency.
- Withdraw your assets when you choose.
- Convert one supported asset into another.
- View your balance and asset movements on-chain.
KAST Assets uses a self-custodial wallet powered by Privy.
Which assets and networks are supported?
KAST Asset Account currently supports the Solana network.
The supported assets include:
- SOL
- Alt tokens: PUMP, PENGU, JUP, RAY, JTO, PYTH, and KMNO
- The following 24 xStocks: SPYx, CRCLx, NVDAx, QQQx, TSLAx, MSTRx, SPCXx, COINx, AAPLx, MCDx, STRCx, GOOGLx, GLDx, MSFTx, AMZNx, PLTRx, KOx, METAx, BRK.Bx, HOODx, VIDAx, GMEx, AVGOx, and PEPx
xStocks are tokenised assets accessed through third-party liquidity sources connected via LI.FI. They are not shares and do not automatically give you voting or other shareholder rights.
Availability of assets varies by market and eligibility. Only use the asset and network options shown as supported.
How do I deposit an asset?
- Open the KAST app and go to Wealth.
- Select “Assets”.
- Select “Transfer”.
- Choose a supported asset and network from the options shown.
- Use the unique blockchain address shown in KAST to send the asset from your wallet or exchange.
- Check the asset and network carefully before sending.
Only supported assets can be credited to your KAST Assets balance. Do not send USDC or another unsupported token directly to your KAST Assets wallet unless it is listed as supported in the Transfer screen.
Unsupported assets sent directly to your KAST Assets wallet may not appear in the app, may not be usable, and may not be recoverable.
Can I withdraw my assets?
Yes. You can initiate a withdrawal at any time.
Are there withdrawal fees?
Yes. KAST charges a $1 withdrawal fee to cover transaction costs.
The fee is deducted when you make a withdrawal. You’ll see the total amount, net amount, and withdrawal fee at the time of transaction.
Who controls my funds?
You directly control the funds held in the KAST Asset Account. Your Asset Account is powered by a self-custodial wallet provisioned by Privy.
This means that each on-chain action requires your authorisation. Actions only occur at your direction. KAST does not hold your wallet’s private keys or have authority to sign a wallet transaction without your authorisation.
What is Asset Account Convert?
Asset Account Convert is separate from the Convert feature in the main KAST app. In the case of Asset Account Convert, it lets you:
- Buy supported assets using your KAST spending balance.
- Sell supported assets back to your spending balance.
- Convert one supported asset into another.
You authorise each on-chain conversion. KAST provides the interface. The on-chain asset-for-asset exchange uses third-party liquidity sources connected via LI.FI.
How do I use Asset Account Convert?
- Open the KAST app and go to Wealth.
- Select “Assets”.
- Select “Convert”.
- Click “Get started” to continue.
- Select the assets to convert.
- Enter the amount to convert.
- Conversion is complete.
What fees and costs apply to Asset Account Convert?
Before you confirm a conversion, you’ll see a net exchange rate. It reflects the KAST fee, provider fees, network (gas) fees, and any other applicable costs for that conversion. It varies by asset and membership tier.
Review the quoted amount, the rate, and any fee or cost information shown in the app before you confirm. Quotes can change with market conditions.
Are there fees for converting?
Yes. KAST charges a conversion fee that depends on your plan and the type of asset you’re converting. It’s already included in the rate you see at the point of transaction. No further charges is added afterwards.
| Membership Tier | SOL | Alt Tokens | xStocks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | 1.00% | 1.50% | 2.00% |
| Premium | 1.00% | 1.50% | 2.00% |
| Private | 0.50% | 0.75% | 1.00% |
How long does a conversion take?
Conversions usually complete in seconds, depending on network conditions. Execution is not guaranteed, and a conversion may fail or be delayed. Completed on-chain conversions cannot be reversed by KAST.
KAST may apply transaction policies and compliance controls and may delay, decline, or prevent a transaction from being submitted or broadcast through the app.
Can I convert USDC or another token I sent to myself?
Only supported assets shown in your KAST Asset Account can be converted.
You can deposit USDC and other supported stablecoins to your USD Virtual Account. However, don’t send them directly to your Asset Account. Here’s the distinction:
- Stablecoins → USD Virtual Account
- Supported assets → Asset Account
Unsupported tokens sent to your Asset Account may not be credited to your balance or displayed in the app. You may also be unable to use or recover the funds yourself. If you’ve sent an unsupported token to your Asset Account we will be unable to recover it.
Which network does Asset Account Convert use?
Asset Account Convert currently supports only Solana. Multi-chain support is planned for future releases.
What rate do I get for conversion?
You will see a single net exchange rate before you confirm. The rate shown already includes all the fees and the current market pricing. The rate refreshes while you are on the screen, and a fresh rate is taken right before your conversion is submitted.
Why am I seeing a price movement?
Digital asset prices can move between the moment you see a rate and the moment your conversion executes.
If the expected movement movement is more than 1%, we will show a warning to you. If it is 10% or more, you will be asked to confirm that you accept the quoted rate or amount. Seeing a warning sign does not stop you from proceeding with a conversion.
What happens if my conversion fails?
If a conversion fails, it is marked as ‘Failed’ in the app. Your balance stays the same as they were, so your original asset or spending balance is unchanged. You can try again. A retry takes a new rate and creates a new conversion.
A failed or delayed conversion may involve third-party liquidity sources, smart contracts, network conditions, or compliance controls.
What role does LI.FI play?
KAST provides the interface for Asset Account Convert. Third-party liquidity sources connected via LI.FI provide the on-chain routing and liquidity for the asset-for-asset exchange.
LI.FI is an independent third party. KAST does not control LI.FI, the underlying liquidity sources, or the smart contracts, and does not guarantee their security, availability, prices, or outcomes.
What are xStocks?
Where enabled, xStocks are tokenised assets accessed through third-party liquidity sources connected via LI.FI. They are not shares and do not automatically give you voting or other shareholder rights.
Their price may differ materially from the price of the underlying security. You may be unable to sell when you want, and you may lose some or all of the token’s value. Do not assume that you own, or can redeem for, the underlying security. The applicable issuer terms govern any token rights.
xStocks are not available in all regions.

Disclaimer:
Convert in the KAST Asset Account lets eligible users buy, sell and convert supported digital assets on Solana using a self-custodial wallet. It is separate from today's Convert feature in the main KAST app, which has its own terms. You authorise each on-chain conversion. KAST provides the interface; the on-chain asset-for-asset exchange uses third-party liquidity sources connected via LI.FI, not a KAST-operated crypto exchange. LI.FI is an independent third party. KAST does not control LI.FI or the underlying liquidity sources or smart contracts, and does not guarantee their security, availability or execution. Prices are volatile, quotes can change, and third-party or smart-contract failures, limited liquidity and delays may cause losses. Confirmed on-chain transactions cannot be reversed by KAST. You may lose some or all of your assets' value. Digital assets held in your wallet are not bank deposits, are not legal tender and are not insured. Nothing here is investment advice. Availability depends on eligibility and jurisdiction. Asset Account Terms apply.
