Deposits must meet KAST’s minimum deposit amount of $1. Deposits below this amount are considered micro-deposits, and are not allocated to your KAST account.
Why wasn’t my deposit allocated?
Your deposit was below the minimum required amount.
This can happen with:
- Bridge transactions
- On-chain transfers
- Test transactions
- Other deposits that result in an amount below $1
Even if the transaction is completed on-chain, amounts under $1 cannot be credited to your KAST account.
What happens to deposits under $1?
Deposits below $1 are:
- Identified as being below the minimum deposit amount.
- Not allocated to your KAST account.
- Returned to the sender.
The returned funds may appear in the original sending wallet or account.
What should I do before sending a deposit?
Make sure the amount you send meets the $1 minimum deposit requirement.
When using a bridge or sending an on-chain transaction:
- Check the final amount that will arrive in KAST.
- Account for network fees or other deductions.
- Make sure the amount received will be at least $1.
- Avoid sending test transactions below the minimum amount.
What if my deposit was returned?
If your deposit was under $1, no further action is usually required. Check the original sending wallet or account for the returned funds.
If the funds do not appear after the return has been processed, contact KAST Concierge and provide:
- The transaction hash
- The asset and network used
- The amount sent
- The sending wallet address
- The receiving KAST address
What if a bank or merchant sends microdeposits to verify my account?
Some banks or merchants ask you to confirm small deposit amounts to verify your account. If KAST shows $0 or does not display the exact cents, you may be unable to complete this verification method. Do not enter zero or guess the amounts. Ask the bank or merchant whether they offer another verification method.
