What Should I Know Before Creating a Card?

  • Cards Limit: You can have unlimited transactions and deposits, but a maximum of 5 active cards on your account at once. For more information about each card tier, see the KAST Fees and Conditions.
  • Potential Fees: Some premium card types, like our metal cards, may have a creation fee. Any costs will be clearly displayed before you confirm your order. Or you can consult the KAST Fees and Conditions.
  • Verification (KYC): You must have a fully verified account to create a new card. If you haven't completed your identity verification, the app will guide you through the process first.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the main difference between a virtual and a physical card?

A virtual card exists only in your KAST app and is designed for immediate use in online and in-app purchases. A physical card is mailed to you and can be used for in-person transactions (like at stores or restaurants) as well as online.

How quickly can I use my new card?

Virtual cards are active and ready to use the moment you create them. For physical cards, you will need to wait for the card to be delivered before you can activate and use it. Delivery times may vary based on your location.

Can I have more than 5 virtual cards in my KAST account?

No. You can have up to 5 cards (virtual or physical) linked to your account.

Why can't I see the "Add Card" option?

This usually means you either need to complete your account's identity verification (KYC) first, or you may already have the maximum number of 5 cards on your account.

Why do I need to activate my new physical card when it arrives?

For your security, you must activate your physical card in the KAST app before you can use it for the first time.
