A USD Virtual Account lets eligible KAST users receive USD bank transfers directly into KAST using dedicated bank details shown in the app.
Depending on what is available for your account, your USD Virtual Account may support ACH, Fedwire, and/or SWIFT transfers. Incoming transfers are credited to your KAST balance after standard processing, security checks, and settlement.
Availability can vary by country/region, account type, verification status, and compliance requirements. If the USD Virtual Account option is not available in your app, it may mean your account or region is not currently eligible.
Who Can Use a USD Virtual Account?
USD Virtual Account availability depends on your profile, country/region, and account status.
To use this feature, you may need:
- An active KAST account
- Completed account verification
- A supported country or region
- Additional review before USD account details are issued
For some users, USD account activation may require a separate review even after the main KAST account is approved.
This means:
- Your KAST account can be approved while your USD Virtual Account is still Pending
- Your USD Virtual Account may be unavailable even if other KAST features are available
- If your USD Virtual Account is rejected or unavailable, KAST may not always be able to manually change the decision
Is This a Bank Account?
Your USD Virtual Account gives you bank transfer details that can be used to receive eligible USD transfers into KAST.
It is not the same as opening a traditional bank account directly with a bank. Availability, transfer types, limits, and review requirements depend on the details shown in your KAST app and the requirements that apply to your account.
What Transfers Are Supported?
Where available, USD Virtual Accounts may support:
| Transfer type | Typical timing | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ACH | 1–3 business days | Domestic USD transfers where supported |
| Fedwire | Same day | Domestic wire transfers where supported |
| SWIFT | 1–5 business days | International USD transfers where supported |
Transfer timing can vary depending on the sending bank, intermediary banks, cut-off times, compliance checks, and processing time.
Always share the exact account details shown in your KAST app. Incorrect account numbers, routing details, names, references, or SWIFT details may delay or fail the transfer.
Can I Send USD Out from My USD Virtual Account?
A USD Virtual Account is mainly used to receive USD transfers into KAST.
Sending money out, withdrawing, or using other transfer methods depends on the features available in your KAST app. If an outgoing transfer option is available to you, it will be shown in the app.
Why USD Virtual Account Onboarding May Be Unavailable
USD Virtual Account onboarding can be unavailable for several reasons.
1. Country or Region Restrictions
Some countries or regions may not be supported. Availability may depend on your residency, ID document country, business registration country, or other account details.
In some cases, the app may show a message such as:
USD Bank Accounts Unavailable. We currently do not support USD Virtual Bank Accounts in your country.
2. Temporary Availability Changes
KAST may temporarily pause or limit USD Virtual Account onboarding in some regions due to operational, risk, or compliance reasons.
When this happens:
- New USD Virtual Account onboarding may be paused
- Existing users with already-open USD Virtual Accounts may be able to continue using them, unless otherwise notified
- Other KAST features may still be available
3. Additional Verification or Review
Your USD Virtual Account may require additional review before account details are issued.
Your USD account may stay pending or become unavailable if:
- More information is needed
- Your documents cannot be accepted
- Your account does not meet current eligibility requirements
- Your country, region, or transaction profile requires extra review
4. Security and Compliance Controls
KAST may restrict or pause USD Virtual Account access because of:
- Fraud prevention controls
- Compliance or regulatory requirements
- Source-of-funds or source-of-wealth review
- Sanctions or restricted-country rules
- Temporary operational changes
High-value or unusual transfers may require additional information. You may be asked for documents such as proof of source of funds, purpose of transfer, or other verification details.
If You Can’t See USD Virtual Account in the App
Try the following:
-
Update KAST to the latest version
Make sure you are using the newest version of the app.
-
Check your verification status
Open the KAST app and go to your Profile or Account section. Look for your verification status or any pending verification prompts. If your account is fully verified, no further verification action should be required. If you see a pending request, follow the in-app instructions to complete it.
-
Check your country or region eligibility
Open the KAST app and go to the USD Virtual Account or Add money / Deposit section. If USD Virtual Account is available for your country or region, the app should show the option to view or request USD account details. If your country or region is not eligible, the app may show an unavailable message, or the USD Virtual Account option may not appear.
-
Check whether your USD account is pending
If the USD option shows as pending, your account may still be under review.
-
Contact KAST Concierge
If the option is still missing, KAST Concierge can help check whether this is due to eligibility, verification, or a temporary restriction.
If Your USD Virtual Account Is Pending
A pending status usually means your USD account is still under review.
In many cases, no action is needed unless KAST asks you for more information. If additional details are required, follow the instructions provided in the app or by KAST Concierge.
If Your USD Virtual Account Is Rejected or Unavailable
A rejected or unavailable USD Virtual Account does not always mean your KAST account is restricted.
Common reasons include:
- Your region is not currently supported
- Additional information could not be verified
- The account does not meet current eligibility requirements
- Extra risk or compliance checks apply
If your USD Virtual Account is rejected, KAST will not be able to manually approve it. You can contact KAST Concierge to understand what options may be available.
FAQ
Can I Receive Push-to-Card (Visa Direct / OCT) Transfers to My 16-Digit KAST Card Number?
No — your KAST card number is designed for spending, not for receiving “push-to-card” (Visa Direct / OCT) transfers.
If you’re expecting to receive a payout (for example, from an employer, platform, or payment provider), use the bank transfer details shown in your KAST app (such as ACH, Fedwire, or SWIFT) when available.
Why Was I Approved for KAST but Not for a USD Virtual Account?
KAST account verification and USD Virtual Account approval are separate checks. Approval for one KAST product or feature does not guarantee approval for every other product or feature.
USD Virtual Account access may require additional eligibility, risk, compliance, country/region, or partner-bank checks. KAST reserves the right to approve, reject, pause, or limit access to specific products or features based on these requirements. This means you may be approved to use KAST but still be pending, rejected, or unavailable for USD Virtual Account access.
Why Is My USD Virtual Account Pending?
Your USD account may need additional review before account details can be issued. This can happen because of verification, country/region eligibility, or compliance requirements.
KAST’s team is reviewing your application. If any additional information is required, KAST will contact you with the next steps. If your application is approved, your USD Virtual Account details will become available in the app, so please keep an eye on your KAST app for updates.
Can KAST Manually Approve My USD Virtual Account?
No. USD Virtual Account access depends on eligibility and compliance requirements. If your account is rejected or unavailable, KAST will not be able to manually change the result.
Why Is USD Virtual Account Unavailable in My Country?
USD Virtual Account availability depends on country/region coverage, compliance requirements, fraud controls, and operational status. Some countries may be unsupported, while others may be temporarily unavailable.
Can Someone Else Send Money to My USD Virtual Account?
Where supported, you may be able to receive eligible USD transfers from another person, company, payroll provider, or supported bank. Some senders, countries, banks, or transfer types may be restricted.
Can I Receive Payroll or Business Payments?
Where supported, USD Virtual Accounts can receive eligible payroll or business-related USD transfers. Availability depends on your account type, country/region, and the details shown in your KAST app.
Are There Fees?
Fees may apply depending on the transfer type and the account details available to you. Any applicable fees should be shown in the app or communicated by KAST before you use the feature.
Which Countries Are Supported?
Availability is shown in the KAST app based on your account profile and region. If the USD Virtual Account option does not appear, your account or region may not currently be eligible.
