Yes — you can create a new KAST account and verify it with the same ID card or passport after your previous account has been fully deleted in the KAST app. However, there are important guidelines and limitations to be aware of.
What Should I Know Before Creating a New KAST Account with the Same ID?
-
One Account Per Identity Allowed
KAST allows only one active account per individual identity. The same ID cannot be used to verify more than one active account at the same time.
-
Previous Account Must Be Deleted
Before using your ID for a new account, your old account must be completely deleted, which means:
- Balance is zero.
- All closure steps are completed.
- You’ve received confirmation of deletion.
-
Verification Time After Deletion
Once your old account is deleted, you can register a new one and submit the same ID for verification (KYC). The review usually takes 2–3 business days.
-
Rejection or Possible Suspension
Attempting to verify multiple active accounts with the same ID will result in rejection or possible suspension.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will deleting my account remove my transaction history?
Yes. Once your account is deleted, all transaction records linked to it are permanently removed and cannot be accessed again. We recommend saving any statements you may need before deleting your account.
Can I recover my old account after deletion instead of creating a new one?
No. Once a KAST account is deleted, it cannot be restored or reactivated under any circumstances. If you want to use KAST again, you’ll need to create a new account through the KAST app.
What if my ID has expired?
You’ll need to provide a valid, non-expired ID to successfully verify your new account. Expired IDs cannot be accepted due to compliance and security requirements.
Can I use the same ID if my previous account was suspended instead of deleted?
No. A suspended account must first be resolved or reinstated before you can reuse the same ID. Until then, the ID will remain linked to your suspended account and cannot be used for a new registration.
Can I transfer my balance or transaction history to my new account?
No. Balances, transaction history, and linked details from your old account cannot be moved to your new one. Make sure to withdraw your funds and download any statements before deleting your old account.
