Why Can’t I Register a KAST Account Using My Phone Number?

This guide explains why your phone number might not be accepted when registering a KAST account. 

Why Can’t I Register or Verify My Phone Number on KAST?

  1. Invalid Phone Number Format

    Enter your phone number exactly as required by the KAST registration form. Use digits only; do not include spaces, hyphens, letters, or special characters. Also add your full country code at the beginning (for example, +1 for the United States) before entering the rest of your number.

  2. Phone Number Already Registered 

    If your phone number is already linked to an existing KAST account, the system will not allow you to register a new account with it. Instead, try logging in using that phone number. If you are unable to access the account, use the "Forgot Password" option to reset your login credentials and regain access.

  3. Unsupported Country or Region

    KAST may only support phone numbers from certain countries or regions. If your phone number is from an unsupported location, you will not be able to register using it. 

  4. Temporary Technical Issues

    At times, registration may fail due to server outages, high traffic, or network interruptions on KAST’s end. These issues are usually temporary and resolved quickly. Wait a few minutes before trying again, and ensure you have a stable internet connection when you retry.

  5. Blocked or Blacklisted Numbers

    If your phone number has been blocked or blacklisted due to past violations, suspicious activity, or security concerns, you won’t be able to register with it. 

  6. Exceeded Registration Attempts

    If you try to sign up too many times in a short period, your account may be temporarily blocked for security reasons. Wait a while before trying again, or contact KAST Concierge if the problem continues.

How Can I Fix the issue?

  1. Select the correct code for your country (for example, +1 for the US).
  2. Then, type your phone number directly into the field, making sure it contains only numbers—no spaces, letters, or special characters.

 

Avoid copying and pasting to prevent hidden characters from being included.

 

  1. Check for Existing Accounts

    Check if your phone number is already linked to an existing KAST account. If it is, you won’t be able to use it to create a new account. Instead, try logging in with that number. If you don’t remember your login details or password, use the Forgot Password option to reset your access.

  2. Try a Different Device or Network

    Sometimes your device settings or internet provider’s network restrictions can block the registration process. Switch to another phone, computer, or internet connection (for example, try mobile data instead of Wi-Fi) and attempt the sign-up again.

  3. Contact Kast Concierge

    If none of these steps work, reach out to the KAST Concierge for assistance. Include the exact error message you see, a description of what you’ve tried so far, and the device or browser you’re using so they can help you resolve the problem faster.

Can I Register for a KAST Account with a Virtual or VoIP Number?

KAST does not support registration with virtual or VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) numbers, such as those from Google Voice, TextNow, or similar services. These numbers are not tied to a physical SIM card and cannot reliably receive verification codes. Always use a valid mobile number from a supported carrier in your country to complete registration successfully.

Can I use the same phone number for multiple accounts?

No. For security and identity verification purposes, each phone number can only be linked to one KAST account. If your number is already in use, you will need to use a different number or recover access to the existing account.

What should I do if I don’t receive the verification code?

First, confirm that your phone number is entered correctly with the proper country code. Then, make sure your mobile plan allows you to receive SMS messages and that your device has a strong network signal. If you still don’t receive the code, contact KAST Concierge for help.

Is my phone number required for registration?

Yes. A valid phone number is mandatory for account creation and verification. This helps protect your account, enables secure login, and allows us to send you important notifications.

What should I do if my phone number is already registered to another account?
