This guide tells you everything you need to know about permanently deleting your account, including what happens to your data, cards, and balances, and the steps you need to follow to complete the process.

What Should I Know Before Deleting My Account?

  • Account deletion is permanent. All your personal information, transaction history, and associated data will be erased and cannot be recovered.
  • Active cards will be cancelled. Any KAST cards linked to your account will be deactivated immediately.
  • Ensure your account balance is emptied or transferred before requesting deletion, as you will lose access to any remaining funds.
  • You cannot reopen an account with the same mobile number or email.

How Do I Delete My Account?

  1. Go to Settings in the KAST app.
2. Select Account.

4. Withdraw any funds left in your account.

5. If you don’t have any funds left in your account, confirm that you want to delete your account.

What Happens After My Account is Deleted?

  • You will receive a final confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
  • All your personal information, transaction history, and linked data will be permanently erased.
  • Any active cards will be fully deactivated and cannot be used again.
  • Remaining balances and unused KAST Points will be forfeited if not withdrawn before deletion.
  • You will no longer be able to log in with the same email or phone number.

Are There Alternatives to Deleting My Account?

Instead of permanently deleting your account, you can choose to freeze your card. Freezing stops all transactions immediately, but your account and information remain intact.

  • You can unfreeze your card anytime if you want to start using it again.
  • This option is ideal if your card is temporarily lost, stolen, or you simply want to pause spending.

All linked cards will be immediately deactivated once your account is deleted. You won’t be able to use them for transactions afterward.

Do I need to withdraw my balance before deleting my account?

Yes, you should withdraw or transfer any remaining funds before requesting deletion. Once deleted, you will lose access to unclaimed balances.

Will deleting my account affect my KAST loyalty points?

Yes, any unused KAST Points will be permanently forfeited when your account is deleted. Be sure to redeem them before submitting your request.

Can I open a new account after deleting my old one?

Yes, you can create a new KAST account at any time after deletion. However, your old data, balances, and history will not carry over.
