Saved payment contacts make it easier to find and select recipients when sending money. In the KAST app, you can view your saved contacts, search or filter by recipient type, and delete contacts you no longer need.
What Is a Saved Payment Contact?
A saved payment contact is a recipient you can select when making a payment. Your contacts can include:
- KAST Tag users
- Bank account recipients
- Stablecoin recipients
- Local bank recipients
- Phonebook contacts
Where Can I View My Saved Contacts?
From the Pay screen, select Search Name, KAST tag, phone, email, then select a contact.
How Do I Delete a Saved Contact?

What Happens After I Delete a Contact?
The contact is removed from your saved contacts and will no longer appear in contact lists, search results or filtered views.
What Happens If I Cancel the Deletion?
Nothing changes. The contact remains saved unless you confirm the deletion.
Why Do I See Different Contacts Depending on the Payment Option I Choose?
When you open contacts through a specific payment option, you’ll see recipients relevant to that payment:
- Stablecoin: Only stablecoin recipients.
- Instant payout contacts: Bank account recipients, excluding SWIFT.
- USD payout: Only USD SWIFT recipients.
- KAST user: Only KAST recipients.
- Local currency payout: Only recipients for the selected currency. For example, GBP payout shows GBP recipients.
- PIX: Opens the PIX recipient screen.
To browse all recipient types, select Search contacts or View all contacts from the Pay screen.
How Do I Search for a Saved Contact?
Select Search contacts from the Pay screen and enter your search text. Results update as you type.
No filter is selected when you first open Search contacts, so you can search across all recipient types.
Why Can’t I Find a Saved Contact?
Check whether you’ve opened contacts through a specific payment option or selected a filter. Either can limit the recipients shown.
To search across all recipient types, open Search contacts from the Pay screen with no filter selected.
A contact you’ve deleted will no longer appear in your saved contacts.
Can I Edit a Saved Contact?
No, saved contacts can’t be edited.
