What If a Stablecoin I Want Isn’t Supported?

If you attempt to send a token that is not supported by KAST, the transaction may fail, or the funds could be lost. Always check the supported stablecoin list in the app before making a transfer. If you’d like to suggest a stablecoin for future support, you can contact our Concierge team.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use other cryptocurrencies besides stablecoins?

Yes. You can deposit major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). KAST will automatically convert them into supported stablecoins in your balance for easy spending.

Will more stablecoins be added in the future?

Yes. KAST regularly evaluates new stablecoins based on demand, security, and compliance. Keep an eye on the app or our blog for announcements about new additions.

What happens if I send an unsupported stablecoin?

Unsupported deposits may be lost permanently and cannot always be recovered. Always verify both the token and its network are listed as supported before making a transfer.

Are there fees for using stablecoins on KAST?

KAST does not charge fees for depositing supported stablecoins. However, network fees may apply when sending or receiving funds depending on the blockchain you use. An auto-conversion fee also applies when you deposit tokens that are automatically converted to stablecoins.

How do I know if my stablecoin transfer was successful?

Once your transfer is complete, you’ll see the updated balance in your Wallet within the KAST app. You can also track transaction details on the relevant blockchain explorer.

Which networks are supported for stablecoins?

Here’s a list of supported networks/blockchains. The app will show you which networks are available when you select a stablecoin to deposit or withdraw.

Can I withdraw stablecoins directly from KAST?

Yes. You can withdraw your supported stablecoins to an external wallet. Simply choose the stablecoin, enter the destination address, select the correct network, and confirm your withdrawal.

How long do stablecoin transactions take?

Transaction times vary depending on the blockchain network you select. Some networks, like Solana or Polygon, process transactions within seconds, while Ethereum may take longer if the network is congested.

Are my stablecoin balances insured or protected?

Your funds are safeguarded with industry-standard security practices, including partnerships with top-tier wallet providers. However, like most digital asset services, balances are not insured by government deposit protection schemes.

Can I spend stablecoins directly without converting?

Yes. Your KAST debit card allows you to spend supported stablecoins directly, while non-stablecoin deposits are auto-converted for you. This makes it easy to use your balance instantly for payments.
