  • Updated

This article explains the difference between KAST Business Standard and Business Global Plan. It covers membership fees, cashback, Reserve Rewards, card benefits, and plan-related fees so you can understand which option may fit your business needs.

What KAST Business membership plans are available?

KAST Business has two membership plans: Standard and Business Global Plan.

Every KAST Business account starts on the Standard Plan by default. The Business Global Plan is an optional paid upgrade for businesses that want higher cashback, higher Reserve Rewards Rate, and additional card benefits.

What is included in the Standard Plan?

The Standard Plan is the free KAST Business membership tier. There is no annual membership fee.

With the Standard Plan, your business can earn:

  • 2% uncapped cashback on eligible Business card spend
  • 4% Reserve Rewards at the Standard Business rate
  • Card cashback only

Through the end of 2026, the launch bonus increases Standard Plan rewards to:

  • 3% uncapped cashback
  • 6% Reserve Rewards (until end of 2026 or the date total Reserve aggregate pool reaches USD 100M, whichever is earlier)

The Standard Plan does not include KAST Points, bonus tasks, or referral rewards.

What is included in the Business Global Plan?

The Business Global Plan is the paid KAST Business membership tier. It costs $10,000 per year and is billed annually up front.

With the Business Global Plan, your business can earn:

  • 3% cashback on the first $1 million in eligible card spend per year
  • 2% cashback after the first $1 million, with no cap
  • 8% Reserve Rewards on the first $200,000
  • 4% Reserve Rewards after the first $200,000, with no cap
  • Up to 100 cards per account

  • 3% cashback after the first $1 million, with no cap
  • 12% Reserve Rewards on the first $200,000
  • 6% Reserve Rewards after the first $200,000, with no cap

The 100-card limit is a soft cap. If your business needs more cards, you may contact KAST Concierge to review your request.

How does cashback work on KAST Business?

Cashback depends on your KAST Business membership plan.

Standard Plan accounts earn uncapped cashback at the Standard rate. Business Global Plan accounts earn a higher cashback rate on the first $1 million in eligible annual card spend, then continue earning unlimited cashback at the ongoing rate after that.

During the launch bonus period through the end of 2026, both plans receive higher cashback rates.

How does Reserve Rewards work on KAST Business?

Reserve Reward depends on your KAST Business membership plan and, for Business Global Plan, the amount held in Reserve.

Standard Plan accounts earn Reserve Rewards at the Standard Business rate. Business Global Plan accounts earn a higher reward rate on the first $200,000 held in Reserve, then continue earning rewards at the Standard Business rate after that.

During the launch bonus period through the end of 2026, both plans receive higher Reserve Rewards rates. Please see Reserve T&Cs for more details.

Who can view and redeem KAST Business rewards?

KAST Business rewards are pooled across eligible Owner, Admin, and Employee card activity.

Only Owner and Admin users can view and redeem the rewards pool. Employee card activity can contribute to rewards, but Employee users cannot view or redeem the pooled rewards.

Are KAST Points, bonus tasks, or referral rewards included?

No. KAST Business rewards are based on card cashback and Reserve Rewards.

KAST Business does not include KAST Points, bonus tasks, or referral rewards.

What fees apply to both plans?

Some fees apply regardless of whether your business is on Standard or Business Global Plan.

These include:

  • FX fee: 1.75%, with a $0.25 minimum
  • Virtual cards: Free, subject to fraud and account limits
  • Plastic physical card: $40 per card
  • Metal physical card: $200 per card
  • Deposit and payout fees: The same fees apply across KAST Business plans and match KAST Consumer rates for supported rails such as ACH, wire, and SEPA

Metal card pricing should be treated as pending final internal confirmation before this article is published.

Can I downgrade from Business Global Plan to Standard?

Yes, your business can downgrade from Business Global Plan to Standard.

The Business Global Plan fee is billed annually up front and is non-refundable once paid. If your business downgrades, cashback returns to Standard Plan rates at the next billing cycle, but rewards already earned are kept.
