Who Can Access My KAST Business Account and How Do I Manage It?

  • Updated

This article explains who can access a KAST Business account, what each role can see or manage, and how Owners and Admins can control team access.

KAST Business separates company activity from personal activity. Business users only see the Business account features and information available to their role, while Personal account activity remains private.

Who Can Access a KAST Business Account?

A KAST Business account can be accessed by users who have been added to the Business profile.

Access may include:

  • Owners
  • Admins
  • Employees

Each role has different permissions. Owners and Admins can manage the Business account and team access, while Employees have restricted access based on what has been assigned to them.

Business access is role-based. This means team members only get access to the Business features and information their role allows.

What Can Owners Access?

Owners have the highest level of access to a KAST Business account.

Owners can usually:

  • View and manage the Business account
  • Manage company funds and business activity
  • Invite Admins and Employees
  • Remove team members
  • Manage roles and permissions
  • Manage the Business profile
  • Invite or remove Admins and Employees
  • Issue Company Cards and Employee Cards
  • Manage available card limits
  • View all business transactions
  • Initiate payouts
  • Access business settings and verification-related information

Owners are responsible for maintaining the Business account and making sure team access stays up to date. Only one Owner can be assigned per business.

What Can Admins Access?

Admins can help manage the Business account on behalf of the company.

Admins can usually:

  • Invite and remove Employees
  • Manage team access
  • Issue Company Cards and Employee Cards
  • Set or edit available card limits
  • View all business transactions
  • Help manage payments, cards, and operational settings

Admins have broader access than Employees, but they cannot change the Owner.

Owners and Admins must complete Full KYC verification before they can manage the Business account.

What Can Employees Access?

Employees have restricted access to KAST Business.

Employees can usually:

  • Access their assigned Employee Card
  • View and use their own assigned Employee Card
  • View their own card activity

Employees cannot:

  • View company-wide account information or transactions
  • View the full team list
  • Manage other team members
  • Invite or remove users
  • View Company Cards
  • Edit Business account settings
  • Change card limits or company-level controls

Employees may need to complete lightweight employee screening before they can access certain Business features or receive an Employee Card.

Can Team Members See My Personal KAST Account?

No. KAST Business is designed to keep Personal and Business activity separate.

Owners, Admins, and Employees cannot see another user’s personal KAST transactions just because they are part of the same Business account.

Business admins can only view activity connected to the Business account, such as:

  • Business account transactions
  • Company Card activity they are permitted to access
  • Employee Card activity linked to the Business account
  • Business payments or payouts where available

Personal balances, Personal Card activity, and personal transactions remain separate.

How Do I Change Someone’s Role?

Owners and Admins may be able to update a team member’s role from the Team section, depending on account permissions and available settings.

Before changing someone’s role, make sure the new role matches what they need to do in the Business account.

For example:

  • Use Employee access for users who only need assigned cards or restricted Business access.
  • Use Admin access for users who need to manage team members, cards, limits, or business operations.
  • Keep Owner access limited to people who are responsible for the Business account overall.

If you cannot change a role, confirm that you are using the Business profile and that your own role has permission to manage team access.

How Do I Remove Someone From a KAST Business Account?

Owners and Admins can remove users who no longer need access to the Business account.

1. Open the KAST Business Login Page
2. Go to the Team Section

3. Choose the Employee you want to remove and click Revoke Access

5. Confirm that you want to remove the employee access.

When someone is removed:

  • Their Business account access is disabled.
  • Active Business sessions will be ended.
  • Any associated Employee Cards will be disabled, cancelled, or closed depending on their status.
  • Transaction history remains available for business records and audit purposes.

You should remove users promptly when they leave the company or no longer need Business access.

How Do I Manage Card Access and Limits?

Owners and Admins can manage available card access and limits for Business cards.

Depending on the card type and available settings, Owners and Admins may be able to:

  • Issue Company Cards or Employee Cards
  • Assign Employee Cards to a specific Employee
  • Set available daily card limits
  • Edit existing card limits
  • Disable or close cards when access is no longer needed

Company Cards are issued to and used by Owners or Admins. Employee Cards are issued by Owners or Admins and assigned to a specific Employee.

Employees cannot change card limits or manage company-wide spending controls.

What Should I Do If I Don’t Recognize Someone in My Team List?

If you see a team member or pending invite you do not recognize:

  1. Confirm whether another Owner or Admin invited them.
  2. Review their role and access level.
  3. Remove the user or cancel the invite if they should not have access.
  4. Contact KAST Support if you believe the access was unauthorized.

For security, only keep active team members who need access to your Business account.
