What Is KAST Business and How Does It Work?

  • Updated

KAST Business is a business account built for startups, growing teams, and web3-native entities that need a modern way to manage company finances. It lets teams manage company funds, make payments, and track spending without juggling multiple tools.

At its core, KAST Business allows you to centralize funds and then use them to pay employees or vendors, issue cards to team members, and monitor all transactions in one place. It is designed to support businesses operating across both traditional finance and crypto-native ecosystems.

Who Is It For?

KAST Business is built for companies that operate globally and need fast, flexible financial operations without the limitations of traditional banking.

It is especially suited for:

  • Web3 companies managing both fiat and digital assets in one place
  • Tech startups with distributed teams that need to manage payroll and operations across multiple countries
  • E-commerce businesses handling high transaction volumes and cross-border payouts
  • Investment firms and venture capital teams handling complex treasury movements and capital distributions
  • Digital-first businesses and agencies with significant global spend that require strong controls and high-limit card infrastructure

KAST Business is designed for teams that need to move money quickly, operate across borders, and maintain control as they scale.

How Does KAST Business Work?

KAST Business is built around three core components: your company account, your team, and your cards.

Funds are first added to the business account. Admins can then invite team members and assign roles, giving them access to spend or receive payments based on permissions. Team members can use issued cards or receive payouts, and all activity is automatically recorded within the account.

KAST Business separates company activity from personal activity, so admins can manage business funds without needing access to personal accounts.

How Is The Business Account Structured?

A KAST Business account typically includes:

  • Business Profile (company details used for verification)
  • Account Balance (company funds available to spend or pay out)
  • Team & Roles (admins, members, and any permissioned roles)
  • Cards (issued to team members with limits and rules)

What Can I Do With a KAST Business Account?

A KAST Business account supports the core financial actions your team needs to operate day to day, while keeping spending controlled and visible.

Receive Payments

You can add funds to your business account so you have a balance available for spending and payouts. This includes transfers from external accounts and inbound payments where supported.

KAST Business provides the infrastructure to manage incoming funds and operate globally:

  • EUR fiat deposits where available
  • Supported crypto deposits, with automatic conversion to USD

Pay Employees, Contractors, or Vendors

You can send payments directly from your business account to employees, contractors, or vendors. KAST Business supports multiple payout methods, including:

  • USD payouts via supported rails, including SWIFT wire where available
  • Local currency payouts to supported countries
  • Stablecoin transfers on supported networks

Issue Cards to Your Team

Admins can issue company and employee cards to team members, enabling controlled spending across your organization. For Employee Cards, admins can set daily card limits. Company-wide daily and monthly card spend limits may also apply.

Admins can manage business cards through the KAST mobile app and web app, including card creation, limits, controls, and permissions. Employees can access and use their assigned cards directly from their own KAST mobile app.

Control and Track Spending

All transactions made through the business account or issued cards are recorded automatically, giving you full visibility into company spending.

KAST Business helps admins monitor card and account activity from one place, with a unified transaction view and downloadable business statements. It does not currently include expense management features such as categories, receipts, or approval workflows. Fine-grained spend controls are planned for a future iteration.

Admins can monitor activity centrally, while team members only see what they’re permitted to access.
