Important: You can move eligible USD between your USD Virtual Account and your Reserve Account at any time. External deposits and withdrawals always go through your USD Virtual Account first.
How It Works
Your Reserve Account is separate from your USD Virtual Account, but they're connected.
To add money to Reserve, first hold USD in your USD Virtual Account, then move the amount you want into your Reserve Account.
When you're ready to spend or transfer your funds, simply move them back to your USD Virtual Account.

Do I Need to Move Money Before Paying With My KAST Card?
Not always. If your USD Virtual Account doesn't have enough funds, eligible card purchases may automatically use your available Reserve balance.
Note: If your Reserve balance is used for card spending, your eligible Reserve balance decreases, which may reduce future Reserve Rewards.
Can I Withdraw Reserve Funds Directly?
No. To make an external transfer or withdrawal, first move your funds from your Reserve Account back to your USD Virtual Account.
You can then use any supported transfer or withdrawal method available in the KAST app.
Are Reserve Transfers Free?
Yes. Moving money between your USD Virtual Account and your Reserve Account is free.
Separate fees may apply when depositing funds into KAST or withdrawing funds using external payment methods. Any applicable fees are shown in the app before you confirm your transaction.
What Happens to My Reserve Rewards?
Moving money into or out of your Reserve Account can affect future Reserve Rewards because rewards are based on your eligible Reserve balance.
- Funds begin qualifying for rewards after they're moved into Reserve.
- Funds stop qualifying once they're moved out of Reserve.
- Rewards you've already received are not removed.
- Reserve Rewards are always credited to your USD Virtual Account.
