This article explains what the KAST Reserve Account is, how Reserve rewards work, and what to know before using it.
Important: Reserve rewards are a promotional benefit offered at KAST's discretion. Rates, eligibility, reward caps, and availability can change, pause, or end at any time according to the Terms. Reserve rewards are not interest, APY, yield, or an investment return.
What Is the Reserve Account?
The Reserve Account is a separate USD balance in KAST.
It sits alongside your USD Virtual Account and is separate from other products, such as USDKY and Vaults.
Your Reserve balance remains available for eligible card spending, while any eligible rewards are paid as cashback to your USD Virtual Account.
How Does the Reserve Account Work?
1. Add USD to Your Reserve Account
Deposit or keep USD in your Reserve Account to become eligible for Reserve rewards under the current program terms.
2. Keep Your Funds Available
Your Reserve balance remains available to spend at any time. There are no lock-up periods or fixed commitments.
3. Spend With Your KAST Card
Card purchases are deducted from your USD Virtual Account first. If the purchase amount is higher than your USD Virtual Account balance, eligible funds may also be deducted from your Reserve Account.
Note: Whether your Reserve balance is used for a purchase depends on how your eligible balances are applied at the time of the transaction.
4. Receive Cashback Rewards
Eligible rewards accrue daily and are typically credited to your USD Virtual Account as cashback at the end of the UTC day.
What Rewards Can I Earn?

During the boosted introductory period, eligible users can earn up to 12% in Reserve rewards.
