KAST requires account verification to enable services like card usage and transfers. This article shows you how to check your current status in just a few steps.

How Do I Check My Verification Status?

With KAST, verification starts the moment you sign up - there’s no separate page for it. You’ll be required to upload your documents right away, and without completing this step, you won’t be able to access key services.

If your verification is still pending, a banner will appear on your homepage showing that your documents are under review. Once approved, the banner disappears, and your account becomes fully active. If action is required, you’ll see clear instructions in the app to resubmit or provide additional details.

What Happens After I Submit My Documents?

Once you upload your identity documents and complete any required checks, KAST begins reviewing your submission. On your screen, you’ll see a status like “In Progress – Hang tight… We’re checking your documents. This should only take 5–15 minutes.”

When the review is finished, you’ll receive an email update letting you know whether your verification was successful or if additional action is needed. This ensures you’re always informed, even if you’re not actively in the app.

Why is My Verification Taking So Long?

  • Blurry or unclear documents

If your ID or proof of address photo is out of focus, too dark, or has glare, the system can’t properly scan and verify the details. Even partial obstructions - like your fingers covering part of the document—can cause delays. Always take photos in good lighting and ensure the entire document is visible.

  • Expired documents

An expired passport, driver’s license, or utility bill is not considered valid for verification. The system will automatically reject it, and you’ll be asked to upload a current document. Always check expiration dates and ensure your proof of address is recent (usually issued within the last 3 months).

  • Mismatched information

If the personal details you entered in the KAST app don’t match the ones on your documents, your verification will be flagged. Common issues include name spelling differences, outdated addresses, or using nicknames instead of your legal name. To avoid this, make sure your account details exactly match your government-issued ID.

  • Additional security checks

Some verifications are flagged for manual review if extra compliance is needed. This may happen if you’re registering from a high-risk region, if your documents trigger fraud alerts, or if the system detects unusual activity on your account. These checks are part of KAST’s security protocols and can take extra time.

  • High verification volume

When many new users sign up at the same time, reviews can take longer simply due to demand. While most verifications are processed within minutes, during peak traffic it may take several hours or, in rare cases, longer.

What Can I Do If My Verification is Rejected or Delayed?

If your verification is rejected or taking longer than expected, there are several steps you can take to resolve the issue:

  • Check and resubmit your documents

Ensure the ID you submitted is valid, not expired, and clearly visible without glare, blur, or cropping. Proof of address must be recent (usually within 3 months) and match the name on your KAST account. Always use the exact name and details as they appear on your government-issued ID.

  • Allow extra processing time if necessary

Most verifications are completed within minutes, but some cases may take longer due to higher review volumes, additional compliance checks, or unclear documentation. If it has been less than 24 hours, wait a little longer before escalating.

  • Contact KAST Concierge for urgent cases

If your verification has been pending for an extended period, or you need to expedite the process, reach out to our Concierge team. Provide your full account details, a description of the issue, and any supporting screenshots so we can resolve your request as quickly as possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does verification usually take?

Most verifications are processed within a few minutes. Some cases may take longer if additional review is needed.

Why was my verification downgraded or rejected?

This usually means your documents did not meet the requirements. Please ensure all photos are clear and documents are valid. You may need to resubmit.

Can I use my account while verification is pending?

Access to some features may be limited until your verification is complete.

If you have further questions, please reach out to our support team for assistance.

Why was my verification rejected even though I uploaded the right ID?

Rejections often happen because the photo was blurry, taken in poor lighting, or parts of the document weren’t visible. Try retaking the photo in a well-lit area and ensure the entire document is in frame.

What if my verification is stuck “Under Review” for too long?

If your status hasn’t changed after 24–48 hours, it may mean your case needs a manual check. In this case, contact KAST Concierge and provide details of your submission.

Can I still use my account if verification is delayed?

Some services will be limited until verification is approved. You may not be able to access withdrawals, higher transaction limits, or premium features until your account is fully verified.

Who do I contact if nothing works?

If you’ve checked your documents, waited the required time, and resubmitted without success, your next step is to contact KAST Concierge. They can confirm the issue and advise if further documentation is needed.
